Why are Fox News and Republicans attacking democrats for Scaring seniors? Should they not say anything?

democrats are lying about what the republicans are doing,medicare and social security will both be gone in less than a decade without something being done,democrats agree with that,but when republicans try to make is so medicare will be around longer ,democrats say they are taking it away. difference between democrats and republicans is that republicans are addressing the problems and democrats are simply playing politics with the whole matter
